A collaboration like this runs particularly deep since both designers started their journeys in the industry around the same time as well. They have in many ways grown together and come into their own together. \u00a0A relationship this deep gives the collection a deeper meaning, where it is evident that the two protagonists have staved off each other\u2019s creative minds! They have been known to complete each other\u2019s design thoughts, have faith in each other\u2019s decisions, love each other\u2019s aesthetic, and most of all feel extremely passionate about their creative processes and their brands! It\u2019s truly unique to have such similar energies and even more for them to come together to create pieces that can only be called; extraordinary!<\/p>\n

Abhinav Mishra is the master couturier of mirror-work, he has single-handedly brought back a traditional embroidery form and made it mainstream. So, it is only obvious that the main design element of this collection is \u2018mirrors\u2019. The use of such a strong material and to create a new, unique, unseen collection out of it has been challenging yet greatly satisfying for both Abhinav and Shirin! The combination of sparkling mirrors with NEEDLEDUST\u2019s aesthetics of feminine meets edgy, manipulation of materials into innovative techniques and designs that have the ability to produce heritage pieces has gone on to create memorable keepsakes for every celebratory wardrobe. This collection will showcase the strengths of both designers together as well as hold their signature styles, sacrosanct.<\/p>\n

The collection is outright glamorous and dominated by tones of taupe, gold, rose gold, champagne and silver along with bright and pop festive colours of marigold orange, \u2018gulab\u2019 red, rani pink, \u2018haldi\u2019 yellow on rich silks, tissue, organza and nets. The embroidery patterns are derived from the Mughal gardens and erstwhile Sindh motifs done with mirrors, sequins, beads and \u2018gota\u2019! The collection will showcase a range of Festive\/Bridal shoes, for both men and women with a variety of shapes, colours and styles in mule heels, Kolhapuri heels, \u2018juttis\u2019 and Men\u2019s \u2018khussas\u2019. The new collection will also feature never done before styles of necklines in \u2018juttis\u2019 and shapes and styles heels, that NEEDLEDUST is launching for the very first time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The collection comprises 12 styles of juttis, 9 styles of heels and 9 bags as well as 6 footwear styles for men with more drops and launches planned across the season.<\/p>\n

Shirin Mann, NEEDLEDUST<\/strong>, goes on to add, \u201cThis collection has been the most fun for me hugely because Abhinav & I have been friends for years! Our everyday banter, our conversations on design, style and our personal goals have somehow converted into this very aspirational, unique collection that we\u2019ve worked so hard on! So often I see a preview of Shirin\u2019s upcoming collection and along with deep admiration, I see how I would add my own touch to the pieces and now I actually get to do that. Our design sensibilities are synced, we\u2019re both critical of ourselves, we\u2019re both very driven, we\u2019re both smitten by beauty in everything we see and do, that\u2019s the passion a collection like this needs and we\u2019re brimming with it!\u201d<\/p>\n
