‘Ambassador of Peace’ Farmaan Hasan Khan (Farmaan Mian Bareilly) Spreads Message of Humanity and Unity
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 30: A remarkable display of faith, harmony, and brotherhood took place in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area on Sunday during the grand “Juloos-e-Gausiya.” The event attracted an unprecedented gathering of over two lakh participants, making it one of the most significant spiritual events in recent memory.
The procession was led by Farmaan Hasan Khan (Farmaan Mian Bareilly), the National General Secretary of Jamaat Raza-e-Mustafa and the son-in-law of the Grand Mufti of India. He is also the Founder of Aala Hazrat Tajushsharia Welfare Society. When he arrived, the air filled with chants of “Nara-e-Takbir” and “Nara-e-Riza,” showing the devotion and unity of the attendees.
The Juloos-e-Gausiya moved gracefully through the designated routes of Ghatkopar. Devotees marched in organised formations while carrying flags and placards with the teachings of great Sufi saints. Several welcome gates lined the route, where participants were greeted with flower showers in an atmosphere of reverence and joy. During his address to the crowd, Farmaan Mian Bareilly, known as the Ambassador of Peace, stressed the need for compassion and togetherness. “The teachings of Sufi saints guide us toward love, mutual respect, and coexistence. In times when society faces divisions, it is essential to strengthen the message of peace and humanity,” he said.
The event included participation from many Ulama, social workers, and citizens from across Mumbai and nearby areas. The organising committee, with help from the Mumbai Police and local administration, made sure security, traffic management, and cleanliness were well managed, which earned them widespread appreciation. The procession ended with a collective prayer for peace, progress, and unity across the nation. The Juloos-e-Gausiya in Ghatkopar will be remembered for its discipline, devotion, and extraordinary participation, marking another inspiring chapter in Mumbai’s rich spiritual and cultural history.
